This year marks the centennial
of the first performance of Puccini's Tosca in Rome. It also marks the bicentennial of the events within the opera. Dr Susan Vandiver Nicassio details events which took place during the Tosca 2000 conference, which was held in Rome on June 16 through to June 18.
